About Me

My name is Kimberly and I have been crocheting since I was about 8. I was taught by my paternal grandmother. At first, I only crocheted long chains. Then I crocheted scarves. Later I crocheted hats, afghans, and other items. I didn’t really start crocheting larger projects until recently. I tend to get bored easily and have about 10 projects started at one time!

Actually, in some ways, it was crocheting that brought my husband and I together. We were involved in a scooter club – Vespa scooters. I had crocheted a scarf for 3 of my friends to match their scooters. But it was the one I gave to my now husband that was the most important of the three. It was the effort I made into that project that brought our relationship from friendship to something more.
